We currently offer classes in pointe, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern and children's dance classes. Ages 3 and up. Class tuition ranges from $30.00-$160.00

Long History of Performance

The Morristown School of Dance Arts was established in 1973. MSDA was the first studio in the Lakeway Area to perform the annual full length version of the Nutcracker Ballet in 2002. MSDA was also the first school to perform Dracula “A Ballet with A Bite” in the Lakeway Area. We as a studio strive to bring quality dance instruction in a fun and welcoming environment to each and every student. We culminate each year with an annual spring performance to showcase what the students have learned during the year.

Community Involvement

The Morristown School of Dance Arts also performs at various community functions, including Mountain Makins Festival, Belk’s KidFest, and local nursing facilities to provide enjoyment to the residents.

Competitions

In addition to teaching recreational dance classes, the MSDA also performs competitively. Our competition teams attend an average of three competitions each year in the greater East Tennessee Area. We compete in several age, size, and style categories. In the last several years, our competition team has had many high achieving performances winning several awards and first place finishes in their division. This season we are very excited to continue in this tradition and hopefully bring home many more awards to show off the students’ amazing talents.
