We appreciate the opportunity to share with you our love of dance. Dance teaches discipline, coordination, balance, poise, listening skills, confidence and a life-long appreciation of the dance arts. The Morristown School of Dance Arts was established in 1973 by Gail Noe-Kilgore. The studio currently has three instructors; Gail, Roxanne and Laura. We offer classes year round to students ages 3 and up. Classes are available in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Creative Movement and Tumbling. We have three performance opportunities a year; The Nutcraker Ballet (9th annual - full length production), Dracula "Ballet With a Bite" and our annual Spring Performance. We also have a Competition Team for those who are interested. Students wishing to participate in The Nutcracker, Dracula and the Competition Team must be enrolled in ballet. Students 8 and up may audition for the Morristown Youth Company. Company members must be enrolled in ballet and must attend company class. Company members have more performance opportunities in Nutcracker and the Spring Performance. They also travel to local events and retirement centers to perform. We are excited to celebrate with you our 37th year of bringing dance to the Lakeway area. |
